WestCare Arizona Supports “Wear Blue Day”

By Emily Selby, Counselor

Earlier this month, WestCare Arizona went blue in support of Human Trafficking Awareness Day, recognized every year on Jan. 11! In an estimate from the U.S. Department of Transportation, more than 27 million people around the world are taken against their will and forced into human trafficking. It is important that people are aware of the dangers and signs of human trafficking. “Wear Blue Day” helps us spread the word around our community and look out for warning signs. Human trafficking can often be a hidden crime, making it hard to identify. But, the more that we know about human trafficking, the more we can help others!
